Make a plan for what you’d like to do differently to cope with physical aspects of stress. Make sure your plan is:
realistic – don’t plan to run the marathon if you can’t even run for the bus yet
specific – say exactly what you’re going to do, and when you’re going to do it
measurable – make sure that you have a way of being able to keep track of what you’re doing. This might mean using a step counter to count the number of steps you take a day, or timing a run for ten minutes.
